Broccoli and Noodle Skillet

Rice noodles, wide 8 oz.
Broccoli florets 3 cups
Olive oil 1 tablespoon
OZO™ Plant-Based Ground 12 oz.
Garlic cloves, minced 3 items
Mushrooms, sliced 8 oz.
Brown sugar, packed ¼ cup
Soy sauce, reduced-sodium ½ cup
Hoisin sauce 2 tablespoons
Sesame oil 2 teaspoons
Ground ginger ¼ teaspoon
Crushed red pepper flakes ¼ teaspoon
Pepper ¼ teaspoon
Cornstarch 1 tablespoon
Plant-based Ground


Step 1
In a large pot with boiling water, cook the noodles according to package directions. Add the broccoli for the last 5 minutes of cooking and cook until tender.
Step 2
Drain the noodles and broccoli.
Step 3
While the pasta is cooking, add olive oil and OZO Plant-Based Ground to a medium-sized skillet and cook thoroughly, approximately 6-7 minutes, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks. Add the garlic and mushrooms and cook for another minute.
Step 4
In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, ginger, red pepper, pepper and cornstarch.
Step 5
Add the noodles to the skillet, then pour the sauce on top and toss until incorporated.
